    About Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)

This site uses Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). They allow a webmaster to specify uniform font styles, sizes, weights, colors, and simple layout preferences through a single file, as opposed to writing the code for these preferences throughout the website.

The advantages to this system are two-fold:

First, the style sheet may be overriden by the user. This is advantageous for people with visual disabilities who need to have type displayed in larger fonts or in highly contrasting colors. Likewise, it is easier for a computer to read a page to a person

    Mission Statement

    from our constitution:
Student Affairs Graduate Association (SAGA) is a resource for graduate students at Kansas State University enrolled in a program of study that prepares them to work in student affairs at a higher education institution. SAGA works to create a supportive atmosphere for new professionals at Kansas State University and to coordinate and promote professional development for its members and the campus community.
