Full-Time (Classified) Positions

Full-time applications with the Kansas State University Police Department are received through K-State Human Resources. They screen for all qualified applicants and forward a list to the K-State Police Department. All applicants are initially screened by the K-State Police Department for job history, traffic violations, and criminal history.

Qualified applicants are invited for an initial interview and can expect a thorough background investigation. K-State Police Department has the following positions:

The Kansas State University Police Department is actively seeking candidates to fill the position of part-time OJ officer. This is an exciting opportunity for any individual who possesses current peace officer credentials. There are no minimum required hours, and assignments are strictly voluntary and as your time allows. KSUPD offers an excellent hourly wage. The primary responsibilities of this position involve providing security at diverse special events such as Big 12 Football and Basketball games, McCain performance series, and Union Programming Council functions. Additionally, this position provides an excellent opportunity to network and make connections with other agencies from across the state.
