Call for Student Abstracts

Are you an undergraduate, graduate student, research assistant, or postdoctoral fellow at Kansas State University who has conducted, is currently conducting, or is assisting with a research project, class project, or outreach activity directly or indirectly related to pet food?

Don’t miss the opportunity to submit an abstract and present your work as a poster or oral presentation to industry-leading professionals at Pet Food Collab, formerly known as KibbleCon, during the 2025 event.

What is Pet Food Collab?

Pet Food Collab, hosted in Manhattan, Kansas, September 8-9, 2025, is an event organized by the Kansas State University Pet Food Program. Pet Food Collab’s goal is to provide a space where industry decision makers come to learn about cutting-edge research and technology in pet food, academics to understand the most urgent challenges and issues faced by the industry, students to explore career opportunities, and companies to meet the next generation of talent.

Who Can Submit?

Undergraduate students, graduate students, research assistants, and postdoctoral fellows.

What Can You Submit?

Proposals, literature reviews, independent research, class projects, and outreach activities of relevance to pet food industry professionals. Topics can be from any discipline related to pet food science, including but not limited to: agronomy and grain science, animal nutrition and health, artificial intelligence, consumer perception, economics, food safety, human-animal bond, ingredient and product quality, and marketing.

If your research is not directly related to pet food, you must explain its relevance to the pet food or allied industries in your abstract and during your presentation or poster. Previously published or presented work is acceptable.
