Crosscut 1: Stakeholder Engagement

The GC BioSenseInnovations team will develop a holistic approach to engage the stakeholder communities (such as industry partners, farmers and community, and general public) with various proposed activities and further the center’s research activities in a co-generative and inclusive manner. With the innovations proposed and future technologies developed in the center, it is further expected that this cross-cutting activity will enrich the economic developments in the regions.

BioSun Solutions Founded in 2019, BioSun Solutions is a private company dedicated to innovation in industries facing environmental issues increasing at the speed of climate change, such as the revitalization of contaminated soils, low (yield) agricultural production due to abiotic (e.g., heat) and biotic (e.g., grey mold) stresses, toxicity to beneficial insects and workers. BioSun designs products from natural materials that have strong biological additives. Its patented and commercialized products were developed in Canada and underwent extensive greenhouse and field testing.
Catalonix Since its establishment, Catalonics has developed a metaverse technique for scattered big data, a method for reconstructing distributed spatial information, and a 3D urban transportation-environment model in the urban area through its original technology, and in the environmental field, it provides an integrated knowledge base for sustainable development in crop cultivation environments, marine and port environments, and forest environments.
Geomexsoft ltd Since its establishment in 2009, Geomexsoft has been carrying out convergence BIZ in various fields by utilizing GIS engine software-based technology. In addition, Geomexsoft has recently expanded its business areas to various fields of smart cities such as artificial intelligence, augmented reality, and digital twins, which are key issues in the cutting-edge industry. Based on this, they aim to solidify our position as a key service domain of smart cities.
KS-Corn The Kansas Corn Commission is made up of farmers elected from each of the nine crop reporting districts in the state. The commission determines how checkoff funds will be invested in the areas of market development, education, promotion and research.
