Microsoft discontinues free version of Copilot

Microsoft has removed its free version of Copilot Chat from Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint and OneNote for large organizations like K-State with more than 2,000 users. Students, faculty and staff can still access Copilot in Outlook and Webmail.

CoPilot is a suite of AI, or artificial intelligence, tools previously integrated into Microsoft apps.
