Microsoft Teams tip: Open apps in a new window

In Teams, you can pop open apps such as Activity, Chat, Channels, Calendar, Calls, and Meet into their own windows. That means you can keep multiple apps open at the same time and move between them more easily, without constantly clicking back and forth.

• Left App Bar: Right-click an app such as Activity, Chat, Teams, Calendar and select Open in new window.
• Within an App: Look for the pop-out icon (a square with an arrow) in the top-right corner to open it in a new window. Many apps have this feature,but some do not.
• Chats: Click the three dots (…) next to a chat in your list and select Open in new window.
• Channel Conversations: Select the three dots (…) on a message within a channel and choose Open in new window.
