Undergraduate Research Awards
Our college is committed to offering all Arts and Sciences students research and creative opportunities, and we help make it possible by providing $1,500 Undergraduate Research Awards every semester. Applications for fall 2026 are due May 1.
Undergraduate Internship Awards
Undergraduate degree-seeking students enrolled in any major in the College of Arts and Sciences are invited to apply for internship awards to provide financial support while engaging in an internship, apprenticeship or practicum experience. Applications for fall 2026 are due May 1.
Nominate an Arts and Sciences alum for an award
Nominations for the Distinguished Young Alumni Award are due April 20.
Nominate a student for the Kirmser Undergraduate Research Award
The Kirmser Undergraduate Research Awards recognize students who have used library resources to complete a research project for a K-State course during the current academic year. Awardees are selected in four categories: Freshman ($1,500 award), non-freshman undergraduate student ($1,500 award), group project ($3,000 award minimum for the group), continuing research ($1,500 award). Instructors may nominate students, and the awards committee will contact them and encourage them to apply. The submission deadline is April 24.
