K-State chemists, geologists and physicists hosted interactive displays once again at the 5th Annual Rocks & Rockets science education fair in Colby, Kansas, on August 15.

Coordinated by K-State geology alum and KU geology doctoral candidate Sara Lamm, Rocks & Rockets is a free, family-friendly science event where attendees enjoy hands-on activities, win science books and door prizes, and interact with scientists from a variety of fields.

In addition to a fun day of scientific discovery, participants got an introduction to engaging K-State faculty, students and programs!
