Silver Key members practice their leadership skills by planning a variety of community service projects throughout the semester. Past projects have included hosting children's Halloween costume swap, participating in ‘adopt a family,’ volunteering for highway cleanups, and various other activities in Manhattan and the K-State campus. Each year, members are divided into committees that plan and execute a service project. These projects benefit retired folks, children, and families throughout the community.
