Wireless network maintenance scheduled for June 24

Kansas State University will be performing routine maintenance on its wireless networks beginning at 10 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24.

Most users should reconnect to the network automatically after the maintenance is complete. However, some devices may display a prompt asking you to accept a security certificate. If you see this message, simply accept the certificate to reconnect to the network.

If your device does not reconnect automatically and you do not receive a prompt, you may need to forget the wireless network, reconnect, accept the new certificate and enter your eID and password again.

Detailed instructions are available in the Forget a Wireless Network Connection article.

If you need assistance, contact the IT Service Desk at 785-532-7722 or use Live Chat.

K-State provides wireless access through three primary networks:

  • KSU Wireless: A secure network for current students, faculty and staff not living in residence halls or Jardine Apartments.
  • KSU Housing: A secure network specifically for residents of the residence halls and Jardine Apartments.
  • KSU Guest: An unsecured public network available for campus visitors, and it does not require an eID or password.

This maintenance is essential for maintaining the safety and security of our systems.
