Applications now open for Mortar Board Honor Society

Mortar Board Honor Society is currently accepting membership applications for the 2026-2027 school year.

The K-State XIX chapter of Mortar Board has distinguished itself with the national office's Golden Torch Award, Chapter Excellence Award, and Award for Composition, Partnerships and Service. Members are active in and passionate about service, scholarship and leadership. Mortar Board provides opportunities, services, benefits and lifelong friendships to its members.

Eligibility criteria are as follows, although exceptions can be made. Please apply if you are interested in Mortar Board.

• Completion of at least 75 credit hours as of August 25, 2026
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0
• Exceptional scholarship, leadership and service records
• Commitment to Mortar Board throughout the 2026-2027 academic year
