Students are invited to shape well-being at K-State

The National College Health Assessment is a web-based, nationally recognized survey used by more than 1,000 colleges and universities across the country to improve campus health and well-being programs. Students should check their K-State email on Feb. 15 to see if they were invited to participate. The survey closes on March 7.

A random sample of 10,000 students was selected from the K-State Manhattan campus to complete the survey. The survey received IRB No. 13308. K-State has administered this survey biennially since 2018.

Quick facts about the assessment:

  • It is online and confidential.
  • It can be taken on a mobile device from anywhere.
  • It covers a wide range of health topics, including mental health, nutrition, exercise and sleep.

Responses help us get an overall picture of student health on our campus and directly influence the health and well-being programs we offer. This is a great way to have a say in the resources and support available to the K-State community.

Aside from making a positive impact, students who complete the survey will be entered into a drawing for one of 12 Amazon gift certificates ranging from $25 to $100. Also, the first 200 students who complete the survey and stop by the Morrison Family Center for Student Well-being in Room 217 of the K-State Student Union to show proof of completion will also receive a $10 gift card to be used at the Union. A screenshot or photo can be used as proof of survey completion.
