Explore innovative water solutions during Water Wednesday
The Kansas Water Institute will host the first Water Wednesday of 2026 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21, in Hale Library, Room 181.
As part of a recurring series of professional development and networking events, this month’s Water Wednesday will feature faculty and student research presentations, along with an open discussion centered on the creation of interdisciplinary projects that support K-State's land-grant mission.
"Water Wednesday gives people a chance to meet new collaborators, hear what others are working on and spark ideas they might not have considered on their own. Those connections are often where the most meaningful projects begin," said Susan Metzger, director of strategic interdisciplinary program development.
All K-State faculty, staff and students are welcome to attend. Online registration is required prior to the event.
The Kansas Water Institute hosts monthly Water Wednesday events to facilitate meaningful exchanges and showcase impactful research. The full event schedule is available on the Kansas Water Institute website.
