K-State opens three funding opportunities through One K-State Fund

Kansas State University has opened three Request for Proposals, or RFPs, through the One K-State Fund. Submissions are due March 1.
Funding opportunities:
- University Outstanding Scholar Awards recognize mid-career tenured faculty members with a $10,000 base salary increase. Questions can be directed to Margaret Mohr-Schroeder, vice provost for academic affairs and innovation.
- Design, Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities awards provide $10,000 grants to support faculty research and creative activities. Questions can be directed to Beth Montelone, senior associate vice president for research.
- The Sustainability Opportunity Agenda award offers funding up to $500,000 for projects addressing sustainability challenges aligned with K-State's Opportunity Agenda.
These funding opportunities reflect K-State's commitment to advancing the Next-Gen K-State strategic plan, empowering faculty and staff to bring innovative ideas to life, address institutional challenges and drive meaningful impact across campus and the broader community.
