Tilley serves as the business manager for Grain Science and Animal Science and Industry, ASI, the largest department in the College of Agriculture. Upon assuming her duties at ASI, she has accomplished remarkable things, improving customer service for faculty and staff and enhancing their relationship with the business office.

She is known for her warm and approachable nature, even temperament and being a hard worker who routinely goes above and beyond.

Disberger teaches program planning, early field experience in agricultural education, Inquiry-Based Curriculum in Agricultural STEM Biotechnology Education, and Agricultural Electrical Systems. She assists with student intern placement and supervision during the spring semester and serves as an advisor for agricultural education students, helping to recruit new students.

Along with teaching classes, she coordinates the Beginning Educator Support Team program for early-career educators in agriculture. Her research focuses on the experiences of early-career agriculture teachers.

The Faculty and Professional Staff of the Week recognitions are coordinated by Faculty Senate, the Office of the President and K-State Athletics. Recipients are selected by Faculty Senate caucuses, provided tickets to a home basketball game of their choice and honored during halftime as a small token of appreciation for their service to K-State.
