From connection to concept: Join Water Wednesday on Feb. 11
February’s Water Wednesday takes an interactive approach with a condensed version of the interdisciplinary CoSearch experience.
Originally designed as an intensive two-day workshop, CoSearch brings people together across disciplines to generate innovative water-related ideas and strengthen collaborative research. This Water Wednesday adapts that model into a hands-on session that highlights how interdisciplinary teams form, how ideas evolve through conversation and how intentional collaboration can build momentum.
All K-State faculty, staff and students are invited to attend this professional development opportunity. It will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Feb.11, in Hale Library, Room 181.
Space is limited; online registration is required.
“Some of the most impactful ideas emerge when we bring different perspectives together with intention,” said Susan Metzger, director of the Kansas Water Institute. “This session is designed to show how interdisciplinary teams take shape, how ideas grow through conversation and how a short, focused experience can open the door to meaningful collaboration.”
The Kansas Water Institute hosts Water Wednesday events each month, aiming to facilitate meaningful exchanges and showcase impactful research. The full Water Wednesday schedule is available on the Kansas Water Institute website. To request additional information, contact water@k-state.edu.
