Finalists announced for dean of Carl R. Ice College of Engineering position
The search committee for the dean of the Carl R. Ice College of Engineering announces three finalists who will interview for the position and invites the campus community to attend the open forums presented by each candidate.
Candidate names, application materials, interview schedules and feedback surveys may be accessed on the provost’s administrative search website by logging in with your K-State eID/password.
- The first candidate will interview Dec. 8-10. The open forum will be from 3:30-4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 9, in the Bluemont Room, K-State Student Union.
- The second candidate will interview Dec. 10-12. The open forum will be from 3:30-4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 11, in the Bluemont Room, K-State Student Union.
- The third candidate will interview Dec. 14-16. The open forum will be from 3:30-4:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 15, in the Bluemont Room, K-State Student Union.
All open forums will be immediately followed by 45-minute receptions in the same room.
K-Staters are encouraged to review the application materials and attend each open forum and Q&A session titled, “Engineering the Future: Aligning Research, Teaching and Outreach in the Carl R. Ice College of Engineering to the Next-Gen K-State Strategic Plan.”
For those unable to attend in person, the open forums will be streamed live and archived on the provost’s administrative search website.
There will also be an online candidate feedback survey on the provost’s administrative search website. Each feedback survey will close at 5 p.m. two business days following each candidate's open forum, and the presentation will be removed from the website at that time.
Oral or written feedback on the candidates may also be directed to members of the search committee. Please provide feedback by Wednesday, Dec. 17.
