Celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Observance Week Jan. 24-30

Kansas State University takes pride in celebrating the 58th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.'s historic visit to our campus in 1968. His deep commitment to access and community engagement through service remains at the core of K-State's values.

In King's 1957 speech in Montgomery, Alabama, he posed "Life's most persistent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for others?'" At K-State, we've positioned ourselves to be educators, mentors and helpers. In honor of his enduring legacy, K-State will host a weeklong series of events in remembrance of Martin Luther King Jr.
