Navigate Student Support and Accountability resources for K-State students

Student Support and Accountability is a resource for K-State students navigating a variety of concerns that may impact their academic performance, including issues related to student behavior and misconduct within student organizations.

Faculty and staff are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the policies below.

Code of conduct policies

The Student Code of Conduct policy outlines behavioral expectations for all K-State students as we strive to build a thriving and respectful K-State community.

Complaints filed through the Student Code of Conduct are referred to the judicial branch of the Student Governing Association, or SGA, which is composed of current K-State undergraduate and graduate students and advised by administrators from Student Support and Accountability. Complaints can be submitted through the "File a Complaint" tab.

The Student Organization Conduct Code and Process for Discipline policy describes prohibited behaviors for recognized student organizations and details the process for accountability should an organization be referred to the conduct process.

Administrators within Student Support and Accountability review complaints that can be filed through the university's Report It page.

Student Amnesty Policy

All students, faculty and staff are encouraged to learn about the Student Amnesty Policy, which was designed to empower students to report alcohol and other drug-related emergencies, sexual harassment, discrimination and other harassment, physical assaults, threatening behavior, incidents of hazing and other similar behavioral concerns without the concern of being punished for minor conduct infractions.

Student Support and Accountability is available to assist in addressing concerns or referring to appropriate resources when applicable.

To speak with a staff member, please contact the office on weekdays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at 785-532-6432.

Please note that the K-State Police Department remains available 24/7 to address immediate crises and emergencies. Please call 911 for emergencies or 785-532-6412 for non-emergencies.
