Dazzling color, rich vocals and uplifting energy will fill McCain Auditorium on Friday, Nov. 14, as the multi-Grammy and Emmy Award-winning Soweto Gospel Choir returns to Manhattan.

Performing their concert program "Peace," the 30+ member ensemble will deliver a blend of original South African freedom songs, traditional spirituals and classics. The joy-filled, inspirational performance will also feature beloved tracks from iconic performers, including Aretha Franklin, Harry Belafonte, Peter Gabriel, Kate Bush, Leonard Cohen and more.

Since its formation in 2002, the Soweto Gospel Choir has served as a global ambassador of hope and unity. The group's signature sound and radiant stage presence have captivated audiences across six continents, earning them international acclaim, vocalist appearances in blockbuster movies like "Wall-E" and headlining performances at global events like the FIFA World Cup.
