The Kansas Board of Regents will meet virtually on Wednesday, Nov. 19. A livestream is available.

Kansas State University items on the consent agenda include:

  • The Regents will act on K-State's request to execute a master lease agreement with 1880 Kimball, LLC, to provide office space for the Office of Military and Veteran Affairs.
  • The Regents will act on K-State's request to enter into a 20-year lease agreement with Pure Imagination Labs, LLC, for space within the Kansas Artificial Intelligence Research and Entertainment Studio, or K-AIRES, building the Salina campus.
  • The Regents will adopt an updated resolution to acknowledge that newly appointed Regents shall not have access to certain classified information protected by federal law. The resolution will transfer the board's management control over certain classified information to a Security Executive Committee.

K-State items on the discussion agenda:

  • The Regents will receive information on proposed updates to board policies on tenure, post-tenure review and faculty workload.
  • The Regents will receive fiscal year 2027 housing and food service rate proposals for first read. The board will take final action in December, and approved rates will go into effect on July 1, 2026.
  • The Regents will receive the first reading of non-budgetary legislative proposals for the 2026 legislative session. K-State requests authority to sell the Honors House in Riley County. Honors House operations are relocating to the campus proper and transitioning into a scholarship community, making the off-campus facility no longer necessary.
