Professional Staff of the Week: Jen Teeter
Jen Teeter was recognized as Professional Staff of the Week at the Nov. 17 men’s home basketball game.
Faculty Senate, the Office of the President and K-State Athletics wish to recognize her contributions to K-State.
With 21 years of service at the Veterinary Health Center, Teeter has become a trusted leader and mentor in the health information department. Currently serving as the health information supervisor, Teeter has played a key role in modernizing the organization, most notably helping to lead the transition from paper records to electronic medical records — a shift that has improved efficiency and patient care across the board.
Teeter thrives in the Veterinary Health Center's teaching environment, where she enjoys guiding others and fostering a culture of learning. Her leadership is grounded in kindness and a genuine desire to help, making her not only effective but deeply respected by her peers. The collaborative atmosphere — and the occasional wagging tail in the hallway — make the Veterinary Health Center a place where Teeter feels truly at home.
Outside of work, Teeter enjoys crocheting cozy creations and spending time with her cat, Mavis, who keeps her company during quiet evenings. Her ability to balance professionalism with warmth and humor makes her a standout in every setting.
