Discover and discuss food security on Nov. 12
Join Kansas State University Libraries for a food security information session from 11 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, Nov. 12, in 181 Hale Library. This discussion will take a holistic look at the impacts of food security and the many resources available to support students and the broader K-State community.
The session is a part of Community Safety Talks, a series aimed at promoting a safe environment for all. The presentation will be led by Jennifer Lopez from Lafene Health Center and Cats' Cupboard.
This event is open to K-State students, faculty, staff and members of the surrounding community. Professional development credit will be offered to all faculty and staff who attend the event, and students can receive credit in CatTrax. Register online to attend.
Coffee will be available courtesy of Joyce and Joe's Cornerstone Café, and Topper's Pizza will provide free pizza for the first 60 participants. This series is sponsored by K-State Libraries, K-State Housing and Dining Services, and BHS Construction.
