Sign up for direct deposit to get university refunds faster

Direct deposit is the quickest and safest method for Kansas State University students to receive money owed to them by the university. Cashiers and Student Accounts processes electronic funds transfers daily when credits appear on a student's account balance.

Signing up is easy. Log in to KSIS and enter the "Financial Account" tile. From there, you'll click on the "Payments/Direct Deposit" menu and the "Make a Payment" button that follows. Conclude this process within TransAct.

Fall is the perfect time to enroll in direct deposit to ensure you're ready for the spring semester. Students who receive financial aid that exceeds the charges found on their university bill are eligible for a refund. Most students eligible for refunds qualify after their financial aid is disbursed at the beginning of the semester. Direct deposit transfers refunds due to student accounts daily, accounting for all student refunds, including refunds due to course changes.
