Students invited to participate in research on well-being and violence prevention

Doctoral student Trina Knight and Kevin Steinmetz, professor in the department of sociology, anthropology, and social work, are seeking volunteers to participate in a survey study focused on interpersonal violence, well-being and sexual violence prevention.

Participants must be 18 years of age or older and currently enrolled as an undergraduate student at Kansas State University’s Manhattan campus. The survey takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes to complete, and all responses will remain completely anonymous.

After completing the survey, participants will have the opportunity to provide their contact information to enter to win one of several $20 prizes. Contact information will not be connected to survey responses.

Eligible students have already received the survey link via email. To locate it, search for the subject line “Cats Care: Sexual Violence Prevention at K-State.”

The survey will remain open through Nov. 8.

For questions about the study, contact Trina Knight at tknight3289@k-state.edu.
