Support available for students through case management

Student Support and Accountability and Housing and Dining Services at Kansas State University offer support to students through the case management program — a solution-focused, non-clinical approach that helps students address a variety of needs and challenges.

Case managers work collaboratively with students to identify goals, develop skills and create personalized plans to promote academic and personal success. This may include scheduling appointments with other offices, creating study plans, connecting with community resources, or navigating decision-making and boundary-setting. The program's goal is to optimize each student's well-being and functioning through efficient, effective and individualized support.

Case managers are located in the residence hall living communities of Kramer and Derby, serving primarily students who live on campus. Off-campus students may also access services by contacting Student Support and Accountability or by submitting a student of concern referral form.

Faculty and staff who wish to refer a student for case management services can complete the student of concern referral form and indicate "case management" in the section about resources shared.
