Key details for new time and leave system launch on Oct. 26

Kansas State University's new time and leave system will launch Sunday, Oct. 26, for faculty, staff and student workers across all three campuses.
The launch aligns with the start of a new pay period.
Starting Sunday, all time reporting and leave requests for nonexempt, or hourly, employees — including student workers — must be made via one of the following methods, depending on the method used by the employee's college or unit.
- Timeclock: A vertical Wildcat OneCard must be used. The older, horizontal IDs will not work with the new time clocks.
- Web browser: Sign in from the top of any K-State webpage or from the time and leave website. The URL will be posted on Oct. 26.
- Mobile: To report time and make time-off requests via your phone or other mobile device, you must download both the ADP Mobile Solutions and ADP My Work apps to enable single sign-on to the system. Instructions can be found on the time and leave webpage.
- All benefits-eligible, leave-earning employees, including exempt employees, must submit time-off requests using one of the methods above beginning Oct. 26. If you already requested time off for a date after Oct. 26, you will need to resubmit the request using the new system.
- The time and leave webpage has resources to help address questions, with FAQs organized by employees, supervisors and timekeepers. If your question is not listed, reach out to your supervisor, HR liaison or timekeeper.
The result of two years of collaboration and feedback, the new time and leave system brings a more consistent, streamlined experience that supports K-State's commitment to making our workplace better for everyone through continuous improvement and operational excellence.
"This system represents a major step forward in streamlining our processes and supporting employees across the university," said Amanda McDiffett, assistant vice president of Human Resources operations strategy. "It's the result of thoughtful planning and input from across K-State."
