Attend training for new time and leave system launching Oct. 26
Training registration is now open for Kansas State University’s new time and leave system, which launches Oct. 26 for all faculty, staff and student employees.
“The launch of our new time and leave system reflects the collaboration and commitment of departments and individuals across the entire university,” said Amanda McDiffett, assistant vice president of HR Operations Strategy. “It's exciting to see the results of our collective effort come to life.”

The new system will impact all K-State employees, including student workers.
To get comfortable with the system before its launch, attend an in-person training session for your specific college or unit. General university sessions also are available on Zoom if you can’t attend in person. Registration is required for all sessions.
The training will introduce the system, highlight key features and help you feel confident navigating it.
Why the new system matters
This consolidated, university wide system replaces multiple platforms with one streamlined, user-friendly experience.
It supports K-State’s goal of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Here’s what you can expect:
- Quickly check your hours, request time off and view leave balances.
- Non-exempt, or hourly, employees: Punch in and out using a time clock, online portal or mobile app, depending on your college or unit.
- Enjoy a consistent experience across campus, making training easier and supporting employees who work in multiple positions.
- Supervisors: Manage and approve employee timecards and leave requests.
