Ensure your campus announcements are reaching the right audience
At the beginning of each semester, campus life becomes bustling with students returning. There are numerous opportunities to join clubs, participate in groups or discover a variety of subjects through meetings. To effectively communicate your message to the campus community, Kansas State University provides several promotional avenues, including the events calendar and social media platforms.
Recognized student organizations, faculty and staff groups, university departments, and residence halls may also utilize traditional marketing methods such as posters, banners and chalking. However, it is essential to comply with K-State publicity regulations. Please note that postings are only permitted in designated areas around campus.
For advertising in the K-State Student Union or residence halls, follow the K-State Student Union advertising policy or refer to the Housing and Dining Services handbook.
To help maintain the beauty of our campus, remember that postings are not allowed on light poles or receptacles. Using tape and stickers can damage campus property. Affixing posters to trees — especially with nails or staples — can significantly harm the trees' health.
Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our campus beautiful and our trees healthy!
