Learn practical fire safety tips, prevention measures and more at Community Safety Talks
Join K-State Libraries for a fire safety workshop from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, in 181 Hale Library. Participants will learn practical fire safety tips, prevention measures and common items cited during inspections.
This workshop is part of Community Safety Talks, a series that aims to promote a safe environment for all. Jack Chatmon from K-State's environmental health and safety fire unit will lead the presentation.
K-State students, faculty and staff, as well as members of the surrounding community, are invited to attend the session. Professional development credit will be offered to all faculty and staff who attend the event, and students can receive credit in CatTrax. Register online to attend.
