Power what's possible: Become a K-State United Way Volunteer Campaign Ambassador

Behind every story of success is someone who stepped up — this fall, that could be you.

The K-State United Way Committee is seeking university volunteers for the 2025-26 United Way campaign. Volunteer Campaign Ambassadors will represent their unit and assist in distributing information to promote the United Way campaign to their colleagues.

Ambassadors will attend an orientation to learn about United Way's impact and how to effectively share campaign information. This session will outline strategies for engaging with their department and encouraging colleagues to contribute through volunteer opportunities or donations.

Why become a Volunteer Campaign Ambassador?

  • Drive community impact: Ambassadors directly contribute to the success of the K-State United Way campaign, in turn helping increase our community's education, income and health resources.
  • Develop leadership skills: Through active participation in the campaign, ambassadors enhance their communication, organization and leadership abilities.
  • Create campus connections: By helping unite K-State around a common cause, ambassadors promote a culture of collaboration and community within their unit and across the university.
