The State of Our University — a signature Kansas State University event — is returning on Sept. 5. Hosted at K-State, the 2025 State of Our University address will unite people communitywide to celebrate the legacy K-State has built and envision the future ahead.

Faculty, staff, students, alumni and community partners are invited to witness the work happening at the Manhattan, Olathe and Salina campuses, and how statewide, the university continues to make a real difference.

Focusing on K-State's evolution as the next-generation land-grant university, this year's program will highlight stories about student breakthroughs, innovative research and partnerships that strengthen communities. The afternoon will also include announcing a groundbreaking university project, revealed publicly for the first time.

"This event celebrates not just what we've accomplished, but who we are together," President Richard Linton said. "It's a chance to look at our collective impact and think about what we can achieve as we keep working toward our shared mission."

The State of Our University address will occur at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5, in McCain Auditorium. Immediately following, attendees are welcome to a public reception in the lobby, where interactive displays will showcase the university's future direction.

The event aims to unite K-State's community around the values and vision that push the university forward, in service to Kansas and beyond.
