Duo enrollment required for incoming students

All incoming, new Kansas State University students will be required to enroll in Duo two-factor authentication as of July 24.

After a student’s eID has been confirmed and they have been notified that their K-State email account is active, they will receive a message through their K-State email instructing them to enroll in Duo. It is important to complete enrollment within two weeks of receiving this notification. If students fail to enroll by the deadline, they will be prompted to do so the next time they try to access a K-State system.

To complete the enrollment process, students will need a computer or laptop, a mobile device or a hardware token. During enrollment, they will also need to choose a preferred authentication method.

Visit the Duo Two-Factor Authentication page for further information.
