Network maintenance scheduled for July 12

K-State will conduct scheduled maintenance for wired and wireless networks on Saturday, July 12, at Anderson Hall, Bluemont Hall and Nichols Hall.

During the maintenance window, all wired and wireless network services in the three buildings will experience brief periods of disruption. All devices connected to network jacks — including computers, networked printers, VOIP phones, department servers and building infrastructure monitoring systems — will be affected. After the maintenance is complete, devices should automatically reconnect to the network.

The maintenance schedule for July 12 is as follows:

• Nichols Hall: 8 a.m. to noon
• Anderson Hall: 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
• Bluemont Hall: 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Maintenance is scheduled for Saturday to minimize disruptions for students, faculty and staff. The work performed during this time is essential for the infrastructure of K-State's network services.
