Parking Garage cleaning starts June 23

Friday, June 20, 2025

Throughout the summer, various buildings on the Manhattan campus will undergo exterior cleaning. The cleaning of the Kansas State University Parking Garage will begin Monday, June 23, and last for several days.

During this cleaning process, the garage will remain open; however, please anticipate some minimal disruptions. Certain floors or sections may be temporarily inaccessible. For your safety, do not enter these restricted areas, and be cautious of workers moving throughout the garage.

Open parking is available on campus during the summer semester. While a parking permit is still required, you can use your permit to park in any lot. For example, if you hold a W permit, you can park in the J, O, R, T, W and Z lots. Please note that the restricted and reserved Y lots will remain off-limits. The parking garage is not included in the summertime open parking. Regular parking permit restrictions will resume with the start of the fall semester on Aug. 25.

Thank you for your understanding as we work to prepare the campus for the upcoming semester.
