Have you ever found yourself in a meeting, taking notes, only to realize you missed a critical part of the discussion? Work smarter, not harder. Let Zoom AI Companion take care of certain tasks for you, enhancing your productivity.

Zoom AI Companion is now available at K-State and is the university’s licensed and approved AI notetaker and tool within Zoom for all K-State users. Nonlicensed notetakers are discouraged, and additional measures will be implemented to ensure compliance with state and federal security laws and policies on campus.

Let the companion take notes, provide summaries, answer questions and offer whiteboards and recordings during your meetings. After meetings, the companion can create summaries of meeting recordings and generate ideas.

Key features include:

• Meeting summaries: Automatically generates summaries of meetings, highlighting key discussion points, action items and next steps.
• Smart recording: Analyzes meeting recordings to create highlights, summaries and smart chapters for easy review.
• In-meeting questions: Allows participants to ask questions about the meeting content, even if they joined late.
• Chat summaries: Summarizes the meeting chat to catch up on missed conversations quickly.
• Whiteboard assistance: Helps generate ideas, refine content and add objects to Zoom Whiteboards.
