Psychological sciences students earn departmental awards for outstanding achievements

The department of psychological sciences recently awarded several scholarships, prizes and fellowships to undergraduate and graduate students who have demonstrated outstanding achievements during their time at K-State.

Congratulations to the following awardees:

Undergraduate student awards

  • Alexis Bouslog, Sewell Undergraduate Research Scholarship
  • Lujan Zavala, E. J. Phares Research Award
  • Natalie Douhard, Peterson Prize for Outstanding Graduating Senior
  • Joy Williams, Curtis Lee and JB Gee Psychological Sciences Scholarship
  • Mark Rack and Lillian Taylor, Doreen Shanteau Undergraduate Research Fellowship

Graduate student awards

  • Karissa Payne and Shannon Ruble, Outstanding Graduate Research Award funded by the Harry Helson Memorial Scholarship in Experimental Psychology
  • Ashley Sylvara, Downey Dissertation Award
  • Christine Seitz, Moana Sargent, and Chi-Leigh Warren, Dunlap Fellow in Industrial/Organizational Psychology
  • Robby Southern, Outstanding Graduate Teaching Assistant Award
  • Ashley Schiffer, Outstanding Graduate Instructor Award funded by the Nobuko Nicholson Opportunity Fund
