Finalists announced for dean of K-State Libraries

The search committee for the dean of K-State Libraries announces three finalists who will interview for the position and invites you to attend the open forums presented by each candidate.

Candidate names, application materials, interview schedules and feedback surveys may be accessed on the provost search website by logging in with your K-State eID.

  • The first candidate will interview May 8-9. The open forum will be from 9:45-10:45 a.m. on May 8, in 581 Hale Library.
  • The second candidate will interview May 14-15. The open forum will be from 3-4 p.m. on May 14 in 581 Hale Library.
  • The third candidate will interview May 15-16. The open forum will be from 3-4 p.m. on May 15 in Room 164.

All open forums will be immediately followed by 45-minute receptions on Hale Library’s 5th floor.

Members of the K-State community are encouraged to review the application materials and attend each open forum and Q&A session titled, “Vision for leading K-State Libraries as an integral part of Kansas State’s goal of being a next-generation land-grant university."

For those unable to attend in person, the open forums will be streamed live and archived on the provost's search website.

There will also be an online candidate feedback survey on the search website. Each feedback survey will close at 5 p.m. two business days following each candidate's open forum, and the presentation will be removed from the website at that time.

Oral or written feedback on the candidates may also be directed to members of the search committee. Please provide feedback no later than Tuesday, May 20.
