Meet with candidates for vice president for research

The search committee for the vice president for research announces four finalists who will interview for the position and invites the campus community to attend the open forums presented by each candidate.

Candidate names, application materials, interview schedules and feedback surveys may be accessed on the president's administrative search website by logging in with your K-State eID.

  • The first candidate will interview May 1-2. The open forum will be from 2:30-3:30 p.m. Thursday, May 1, in the Flint Hills Room, K-State Student Union.
  • The second candidate will interview May 5-6. The open forum will be from 2:30-3:30 p.m. Monday, May 5, in Hale Library, Room 581.
  • The third candidate will interview May 7-8. The open forum will be from 2:30-3:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, in the Flint Hills Room, K-State Student Union.
  • The fourth candidate will interview May 8-9. The open forum will be from 2:30-3:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 8 in the Flint Hills Room, K-State Student Union.

All open forums will be immediately followed by 30-minute receptions.

Members of the K-State community are encouraged to review the application materials and attend each open forum and Q&A session titled, "Leading Research Innovation at a Next Generation Land Grant University." For those unable to attend in-person, the open forums will be streamed live and archived on the president's administrative search website.

There will also be an online candidate feedback survey on the president's administrative search website. Each feedback survey will close at 5 p.m. two business days following each candidate's open forum, and the presentation will be removed from the website at that time.

Oral or written feedback on the candidates may also be directed to members of the search committee. Please provide feedback no later than Monday, May 12.
