K-State Research and Extension seeks breakout and resource fair proposals

Tuesday, April 29, 2025

K-State Research and Extension invites passionate educators, innovative professionals and visionary leaders to submit proposals for breakout sessions and the conference resource fair at its 2025 Annual Conference, Oct. 21-23.

This year's theme, "Resiliency through Change," challenges participants to embrace adaptation, foster innovation and strengthen collective impact in support of the university's vision to lead as a next-generation land-grant university. K-State Research and Extension seeks dynamic, engaging presentations highlighting how professionals are navigating change, building resilience and advancing a shared mission through new strategies, partnerships and programs.

Proposals should focus on:

  • Innovative approaches that drive resilience in a changing world.
  • Strategies for building skills across transdisciplinary teams.
  • Peer-to-peer learning experiences that strengthen collaboration.
  • Transformative ideas that create a more engaged, impactful university.

Faculty and staff across the university are encouraged to submit breakout session proposals. Sessions offering actionable takeaways and building skills applicable across disciplines will be especially valued.

K-State Research and Extension also invites professionals and departments to participate in the resource fair — a prime opportunity to showcase programs, tools, research and services to colleagues across the organization.

Concurrent sessions and a resource fair at the conference will be on Oct. 22. Proposals are due June 1.

Help inspire resilience through change and shape the future of Research and Extension. Submit your proposal today.
