Annual alcohol and other drug policy notification
Tuesday, April 29, 2025
Kansas State University is required by federal law to annually notify all students, faculty and staff of alcohol and other drug policies, sanctions and the risks associated with use.
The memo from President Richard Linton and a copy of the 2025 Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act Biennial Review are available online.
This notification provides the campus community with:
- Alcohol and drug programs that are available to students, faculty and staff.
- Health risks associated with alcohol abuse and illicit drug use.
- Applicable university policies, standards of conduct and disciplinary sanctions for students and staff regarding alcohol and drug use.
- Federal and state legal sanctions.
Keeping K-State safe depends on the cooperation, involvement and support of all university community members. Thank you in advance for reviewing the information and doing your part in maintaining a safe and healthy campus community.
