Finalists announced for College of Agriculture dean, KSRE director

The search committee for the dean of the College of Agriculture and director of K-State Research and Extension position announces four finalists who will interview for the position.
The campus community is invited to attend a Manhattan campus open forum and a town hall in Garden City with each finalist.
Finalists' names, interview dates
The following finalists will interview during the noted date range:
Jane Schuh: April 16-17
Professor and associate dean, director for research and graduate studies in the College of Agriculture at Kansas State University
- Manhattan campus open forum: 9:30-10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 17. A reception will follow from 10:30-11 a.m.
- Garden City town hall: 5:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 17. A reception will follow from 6:30-7 p.m.
Manpreet Singh: April 21-22
Professor and head of the food science and technology department at the University of Georgia
- Manhattan campus open forum: 9:30-10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 22. A reception will follow from 10:30-11 a.m.
- Garden City town hall: 5:30-6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 22. A reception will follow from 6:30-7 p.m.
Christopher Gunter: April 23-24
Professor and chair of the horticultural sciences department at the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences
- Manhattan campus open forum: 9:30-10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 24. A reception will follow from 10:30-11 a.m.
- Garden City town hall: 5:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 24. A reception will follow from 6:30-7 p.m.
Darrell Donahue: April 29-30
Professor and special assistant to the provost and president at West Virginia University
- Manhattan campus open forum: 9:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 30. A reception will follow from 10:30-11 a.m.
- Garden City town hall: 5:30-6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 30. A reception will follow from 6:30-7 p.m.
Campus open forum, Garden City town hall locations
All Manhattan campus open forums and Q&A sessions — "College of Agriculture and K-State Research and Extension in 2030: Aligning its Future with the Next-Gen K-State Strategic Plan" — will take place in Regnier Forum in Regnier Hall.
For those unable to attend in person, the open forums will be streamed live and archived on the provost's search website, accessible to only those with a K-State eID/password.
All Garden City town halls will be held in the Endowment Room of the Beth Tedrow Student Center at Garden City Community College, 801 N. Campus Drive. Please note that this is an updated location.

Candidate information, feedback surveys
Faculty, staff and current students may access candidate itineraries and applications materials on the Provost’s search website. Please be prepared to enter your K-State eID and password to access the information. There will also be online candidate feedback surveys on the search website. Each feedback survey will close at 5 p.m. two business days following each candidate's open forum, and the open forum presentation will be removed from the website at that time.
For those external to the university who attend the Garden City Town Halls, a separate candidate feedback survey will be made available.
Oral or written feedback on the candidates may also be directed to members of the search committee by Sunday, May 4.
