Anamul Haque Chowdhury

Mohammad Anamul Haque Chowdhury is a Graduate Research Assistant at the SSBio Lab at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. He is originally from Bangladesh and earned his bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Khulna University of Engineering and Technology, followed by a master’s degree in Biomedical Physics and Technology from the University of Dhaka.

Under the guidance of Dr. Saha, his research focuses on exploring machine learning and metabolic modeling to study microbial communities and plant and animal biological systems, and engineering these systems toward precision methods. His broader interests lie in integrating computational modeling, mathematics, and biology to better understand and design complex biological systems.

Outside of research, he enjoys playing chess and spending time thinking through complex problems.
