'Wonder Bread Years': McCain Performance Series show offers comedic tribute to days gone by

Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2013

MANHATTAN -- "The Wonder Bread Years" with Pat Hazell comes to Kansas State University at 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3, in Forum Hall at the K-State Student Union.

This comedic salute to the baby boomer generation walks the line between theater and stand-up comedy, and offers viewers a chance to laugh and savor the past.

The show's star, Hazell, is a former original writer for "Seinfeld," and Showtime declared him one of the five funniest people in America. He is a "Tonight Show" veteran, an acclaimed playwright and a contributing commentator for National Public Radio. He is recognized for his genuine Americana humor and salutes to pop culture.

Tickets for this McCain Performance Series event cost $14-$34, plus applicable taxes and fees, and can be purchased at the McCain Auditorium box office, by calling 785-532-6428 or online at http://www.k-state.edu/mccain.
