Broadway musical 'Elf' comes to McCain just in time for the holidays

Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2014

MANHATTAN — Christmas is coming early to Kansas State University's McCain Performance Series this year with the Broadway musical "Elf" at 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14, in McCain Auditorium.

"Elf" is a tale about Buddy, a young orphan child who mistakenly crawls unto Santa's bag of gifts and is transported back to the North Pole. Unaware that he is actually human, Buddy's enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth. With Santa's permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father, discover his true identity and help New Yorkers remember the true meaning of Christmas.

Tickets for "Elf" start at $25.50, plus applicable taxes and fees, and are available now at the McCain Auditorium box office, online at http://www.k-state.edu/mccain, or by calling 785-532-6428.
