Dance company blends ancient Chinese dance styles with modern dance for McCain performance

MANHATTAN -- Kansas State University's McCain Performance Series will present "Dynasties and Beyond" by the Lily Cai Chinese Dance Company at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28, in McCain Auditorium.
"Dynasties and Beyond" uses dance techniques from ancient Chinese dynasties to remote regional cultures and from court dances to contemporary ribbon dancing. dance company's choreography and style will reveal the strength, beauty and complexity of the Chinese woman from the distant past to today.
