University's Emeritus Faculty Group to meet April 23

MANHATTAN -- Kansas State University's retired faculty and administration will gather Tuesday, April 23, for their spring luncheon at the Manhattan Country Club.

The K-State Emeritus Faculty Group will have a social at 11:30 a.m. and a plated lunch served at noon. Guest speaker will be Ronnie Elmore, associate dean for academic programs, admission and diversity at the College of Veterinary Medicine, discussing "How U.S. Presidential Pets Changed History," said Enid Cocke, a member of the emeritus faculty leadership group.

Cost of the lunch is $18 payable to the K-State Emeritus Faculty Group, 1515 Williamsburg, Manhattan KS 66502. Payment must be received before April 20. Meat and vegetarian choices are available.

The fall luncheon will be Tuesday, Oct. 29, with a discussion of the new university master plan.
