Monday, April 15, 2024

MANHATTAN — Fifteen Kansas State University students have been selected for the annual Dean of Students Outstanding Graduating Senior Awards.

Thomas Lane, vice president for academic success and student affairs and dean of students, will present the awards at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, April 25, in the Flint Hills Room of the K-State Student Union. Family, friends, faculty and staff are invited to attend the celebration.

This award acknowledges the significant contributions of graduating seniors to student life during their K-State careers. Directors and staff members in the Division of Academic Success and Student Affairs on the Manhattan and Salina campuses nominate candidates, and the winners are selected by a committee.

"Every year, I'm continually blown away by the incredible accomplishments of our Outstanding Graduating Senior awardees," said Lane. "And this year is no exception. These remarkable individuals embody the legacy of excellence at K-State, and their contributions help move us forward as a next-generation land-grant university. They've poured their hearts and souls into enhancing campus life, and for that, I'm immensely grateful. It's an honor to recognize their hard work and thank them for the exceptional leadership they've displayed throughout their time here.
