MANHATTAN — "Come From Away" flies into town to open the spring season of popular Broadway touring shows from Kansas State University's McCain Performance Series at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 25.

On 9/11, the world stopped. The next day, the stories moved us all. Celebrate the best of humankind and the best in all of us at "Come From Away." This stirring and inspiring musical takes you into the heart of the remarkable true story of the small town in Newfoundland that opened their homes to 7,000 stranded travelers on 9/11. During that fateful week, cultures clashed and nerves ran high, but uneasiness turned into trust, music soared into the night and gratitude grew into enduring friendships.

Tickets are available online at mccain.k-state.edu or at the ticket office in the McCain lobby from noon to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays. Tickets are also available by phone at 785-532-6428 during the same hours.
