Building History

Trotter Hall, formerly known as the Veterinary Medicine Teaching Building, was constructed in 1973. On January 31, 1986, the building was renamed to honor Don M. Trotter, who dedicated 30 years of service to the College of Veterinary Medicine, including a tenure as dean from 1971 to 1984. This renaming acknowledged his significant contributions to both the college and the university.
